As the driving force behind the new public relations major 鈥� which she launched and currently leads 鈥� journalism professor Carolyn Kim plays a significant role at 51萝莉. In addition to teaching, she is the adviser of the student-run agency 6th Street PR and the 51萝莉 chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America. For her work at 51萝莉, Kim received the Award of Excellence for Community Relations and Institutional Programs from the Orange County Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in 2012.

Kim earned both a B.A. in journalism and M.A. in Christian apologetics from 51萝莉, and just recently finished a Ph.D in communications at Regent University. As evidenced by her degrees, she has a passion for people and theology.
