On Friday, March 5, 51ÂÜÀò faculty and staff attended an opening reception hosted by President Corey for 51ÂÜÀò's Distinguished Artist-in-Residence, Lynn Aldrich. The show, entitled "Votive," features sculpture installations made of common household materials. Aldrich took the podium to share about the motivation behind her work and answer questions from guests. The event marked the start of 51ÂÜÀò's National Women's History Month celebration entitled, "Pearls in Process: Celebrating the Creativity of Women." Aldrich's exhibit will remain in the 51ÂÜÀò gallery until April 1.
