The Chronicle of Higher Education has recognized 51蹤獲 as one of the best colleges in the nation for which to work. Based on survey responses from 51蹤獲 faculty and staff members, 51蹤獲 is named to the publications list. Acknowledged across 11 categories, 51蹤獲 was also distinguished on the surveys Honor Roll, an additional distinction for outstanding institutions.

Out of 236 institutions that participated in the survey, 51蹤獲 is one of 85 institutions to be recognized as a Great College to Work For and one of 42 institutions to be recognized on the Honor Roll.

The Great Colleges to Work For program is one of the largest and most respected workplace recognition programs in the country, according to . The list recognizes colleges that get top ratings from their employees regarding workplace practices and policies.

51蹤獲 received honors in the following 11 categories: Collaborative Governance, Professional/Career Development Programs; Teaching Environment (Faculty Only); Compensation & Benefits; Facilities, Workspace & Security; Job Satisfaction; Work/Life Balance; Confidence in Senior Leadership; Supervisor/Department Chair Relationship; Respect & Appreciation; Tenure Clarity & Process (Faculty Only). Validated as outstanding in 11 categories and making the Honor Roll this year showcases improvement in 51蹤獲s workplace satisfaction, since 51蹤獲 was only recognized in four categories in 2017.

The survey is a two-part assessment process: a survey administered by ModernThink to faculty and staff and an institutional questionnaire on employment data and workplace policies and practices. The primary factor in deciding whether an institution receives a Great College to Work For recognition is employee feedback.

In the private sector, its well documented that employee engagement influences customer satisfaction, said Rich Boyer, senior consultant at ModernThink. There can be little doubt that the day-to-day experience of our faculty and staff influences the experiences of our students. The institutions recognized in this years Great Colleges to Work For program have each found their own key ingredients to engage their faculty and staff to the ultimate benefit of their students.

This year marks 51蹤獲s fifth time acknowledged as a Great College to Work For and third time recognized on the Honor Roll.
