LA MIRADA, CALIF. — Snyder School of Cinema & Media Arts alumni will be taking center stage during the Super Bowl commercials on Sunday, Feb. 9.

Alumnus Nate Norell (’18), along with best friend and fellow filmmaker Dylan Bradshaw, created one of the top three Doritos ads in the running to win the ” contest. The commercial, titled “Abduction,” received the most votes from the public, earning them a commercial spot during the Super Bowl and $1 million cash prize.

“We both truly believe that everything in our lives, the projects we’ve made and the friendships we’ve built, has led to THIS VERY MOMENT,” the duo wrote on Instagram to announce their win. “We can’t thank @doritos enough for giving us and so many other incredible filmmakers the opportunity to showcase what we can do on what is quite literally the Oscars of commercials — WE’RE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!”

Other 51 alumni involved in the commercial filming, producing and editing are Jace Hardwick (’20), Ethan Montgomery (’23), Andrew Baer (’19), Cynthia Garcia (’18) and Lorenzo Anzoleaga (B.A. '18). Current Snyder School student Garrison Keeton was also included.

“Our biggest takeaway … is that you can truly achieve your wildest dreams so long as you never lose faith in yourself, your vision, your loved ones, your community, and God. All of our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them,” said the commercial creators.
