KBR: The Torch is an internet-only station run by students at 51ÂÜÀò. The Torch seeks to serve the 51ÂÜÀò campus, surrounding communities and world with quality God-honoring programming.

Getting Involved
General requirements for students who desire to get involved:

• Must be a current 51ÂÜÀò student
• Being a part of KBR: The Torch is on a voluntary basis, however once committed to a position, the commitment must be kept for the duration of the semester
• Outside of JOUR 300, Radio Practicum, there is no credit offered for being a part of KBR: The Torch
• There is no major requirement or class prerequisites
• Students may not play music from their personal collection without written permission of the Music Director
• All live shows must complete a mandatory Air Check once a semester (Submit a recording of your program)
• Podcasts are reviewed by KBR's Programming and Production Director prior to their posting
• KBR hires scholarship-position staff once a year in the Spring semester
• Students are expected to uphold 51ÂÜÀò's Mission statement and act accordingly in all radio station work
