Biography

Julianne Bryant earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish and a Bachelor of Social Work from Cabrini College in Radnor, Pennsylvania. She also earned a Master of Arts in Bicultural/Bilingual Studies from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She completed a master's degree and a doctorate in Spanish from Temple University with a specialization in Hispanic Linguistics. Her dissertation was entitled Language and Identity among Adolescent Heritage Spanish Students and her research interests include language and identity, heritage language acquisition, bilingualism, sociolinguistics and Hispanic dialectology. In addition to teaching GE level courses for both Heritage Learners and Second Language Learners of Spanish at 51蹤獲, she also teaches courses in Hispanic linguistics, Teaching Pedagogy, Caribbean Culture and Community Spanish.
