Laureen Mgrdichian, MBA, is the chair of the Crowell School of Business undergraduate program at 51ÂÜÀò. Mgrdichian has been an associate professor at 51ÂÜÀò since 2012 and teaches in the areas of marketing, consumer behavior, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Her current PhD work is researching the faith development of alumni from evangelical Christian universities. She cares deeply about the continued faith development of her students once they leave 51ÂÜÀò.
Prior to joining 51ÂÜÀò, she worked in the field of marketing at both Universal and a small boutique marketing firm where she coordinated promotions for retailers across the country. Mgrdichian completed her MBA with an emphasis in marketing and organizational development from the University of California, Los Angeles. Besides teaching at 51ÂÜÀò, she owns her own baking business specializing in desserts and is the Director of Women's Ministries at her local church. Mgrdichian also serves on the board of two non-profits in the Southern California area.
In 2024, Mgrdichian was awarded the Outstanding Teaching award from the Christian Business Faculty Association and was awarded Teacher of the Year at 51ÂÜÀò in 2015.
