Noelle Cablay is an adjunct professor at 51����. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Education from San Diego State University, she became a public educator where she was eventually awarded Mentor Emeritus for creating programs integrating music and math. As a result of her strong belief in music as part of comprehensive interdisciplinary learning, she would be awarded a founding faculty position for the Vista Academy Visual and Performing Arts. Her duties included creating, writing, directing, teaching and developing integrated arts programs with a music focus. Taking a hiatus to raise a family, she used her time to focus as an artist by writing, singing and producing five albums. In addition, she wrote music for regional theatre and produced and directed the multimedia musicals “Celebrate Christmas” and “33.” She earned her Master of Arts in Humanities with a music concentration from Cal State Dominguez Hills where she researched, composed and performed to defend improvisation as spontaneous co-composition. Her experiences in music have allowed her the opportunity to work with a variety of musical artists.
