How did your program at 51ÂÜÀò prepare you for your career?
BOHPA provided a lot of support and resources that helped guide my path into pursuing a career as a physician. Dr. Harvey provided a lot of counseling and served as a mentor throughout the difficult process of getting into medical school and gave me a lot of advice and support. The other faculty also gave a lot of words of wisdom as well as encouragement.
What did you appreciate most about your time at 51ÂÜÀò?
I appreciated the support that all of the members of the faculty provided. Each went out of their way to support my career ambitions and encouraged me throughout the entire process and helped me pursue my ambitions while maintaining my faith.
How did 51ÂÜÀò equip you to be a more faithful follower of Jesus Christ?
The community of friends that I developed throughout my time at 51ÂÜÀò has helped me throughout the years. I continue to maintain relationships with many of my friends that I have created throughout my time at 51ÂÜÀò and they all help provide a community and accountability that have helped me be a more faithful follower of Jesus Christ.
What advice would you give to students considering your degree program?
51ÂÜÀò provides many of the resources needed to pursuing a career in medicine, you just need to be proactive and reach out to the faculty. Dr. Harvey provided so much for me in gaining admission to medical school and provided a lot of insight into the process. Utilize these resources as much as you can.
