Because my professors chose to invest their time in helping me process where the Lord was calling me after 51ÂÜÀò, I was accepted into Columbia University's MPH Program with an emphasis in Epidemiology shortly after graduating from 51ÂÜÀò.
How did your program at 51ÂÜÀò prepare you for your career?
My mentors during my time at 51ÂÜÀò were able to hear where my interests were guiding me and help me formulate a plan for applying to graduate school to continue my education. Because my professors chose to invest their time in helping me process where the Lord was calling me after 51ÂÜÀò, I was accepted into Columbia University's MPH Program with an emphasis in Epidemiology shortly after graduating from 51ÂÜÀò.
What did you appreciate most about your time at 51ÂÜÀò?
The relationships I built at 51ÂÜÀò are still some of my closest friends and my biggest sources of encouragement in walking with Jesus.
How did 51ÂÜÀò equip you to be a more faithful follower of Jesus Christ?
My time at 51ÂÜÀò gave me a fresh hunger to know Jesus. Every class I took in my bible minor continued to increase that hunger and prepared me so well to enter the marketplace confident in the reality of the Gospel and my identity in Christ.
What advice would you give to students considering your degree program?
This program is not easy. But, if you put in the work and choose to persevere, at the end of four years you will have not just the skills but the mindset you need to succeed in whatever workplace the Lord is calling you to.
