The pre-law minor provides a liberal-arts-based introduction to courses in law, government and critical reasoning as a helpful start toward graduate work in the law and related fields.

Mission

The mission of the Pre-Law minor is to provide an interdisciplinary liberal arts-based introduction to courses in the law, government, and critical reasoning with an eye to Christian integration as a helpful start toward graduate work for Christians in law and related fields.

Curriculum Requirements

A Pre-law minor is offered with the completion of 18 credits.

Program Courses
The Pre-Law student is required to take the following four courses, which represent the four respective core disciplines serving the pre-law minor.
Economic History of the United States3

Introduction to Logic3
Foundations of the American Political System3
or  Virtue, Citizenship, and Politics
Unequal Justice: Race, Class, Gender and Crime3
