Coordinator Positions
10 hours a week at $16.00 per hour.
Community Groups Coordinator
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled at 51ÂÜÀò with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
- Able to attend all mandatory meetings
- Identify with the global community
- Strong oral and written English communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in an intercultural team
- Experience leading small groups
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend all mandatory meetings, trainings and events
- Participate in the GE leadership program through weekly coordinator training meetings
- Attend weekly 1 on 1's with a GSE staff supervisor
- Develop a team tasked with leading and implementing GSE's Community Groups
- Plan weekly 1 on 1's and team meetings with Community Groups interns
- Develop small group leader training and support including weekly discussion guides
- Co-lead a Community Group
- Plan combined community group events
- Mentor and equip interns in intercultural growth and leadership
- Assist in the implementation of Fall and Spring new global student orientation
- Assist in the implementation of larger GSE events
- All other duties as assigned
Events Coordinator
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled at 51ÂÜÀò with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
- Able to attend all mandatory meetings
- Identify with the global community
- Strong oral and written English communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in an intercultural team
- Experience in event planning
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend all mandatory meetings, trainings and events
- Participate in the GSE leadership program through weekly coordinator training meetings
- Attend weekly 1 on 1's with a GSE staff supervisor
- Lead a team tasked with planning and implementing Global Student Events
- Plan weekly 1 on 1's and team meetings with Events interns
- Coordinate with the Media & Marketing team to promote events
- Coordinate with the GSE Administrative Coordinator for reservation of event spaces and purchase of supplies
- Plan monthly events, which may include but are not limited to: bridging events, community-building events, educational workshops, and worship nights
- Mentor and equip interns in intercultural growth and leadership
- Assist in the implementation of Fall and Spring new global student orientation

Global Bridging Coordinator
Qualifications:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend all mandatory meetings, trainings and events
- Participate in the GSE leadership program through weekly coordinator training meetings
- Attend weekly 1 on 1's with a GSE staff supervisor
- Lead a team tasked with strengthening partnerships across campus and planning/implementing Global Bridging Events
- Plan weekly 1 on 1's and team meetings with Bridging interns
- Strengthen partnerships with departments on campus in accord with GSE's mission and vision (SGA, SMU, SEID, Marketing, International Admissions, etc.)
- Plan events to increase global awareness on campus, which may include but are not limited to: bridging events, Global Voices Chapel, Meet the Neighbors cultural highlight fair, and worship nights
- Mentor and equip interns in intercultural growth and leadership
- Assist in the implementation of Fall and Spring new global student orientation
- Assist in the implementation of larger GSE events
- All other duties as assigned
Media and Marketing Coordinator
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled at 51ÂÜÀò with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
- Able to attend all mandatory meetings
- Identify with the global community
- Strong oral and written English communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in an intercultural team
- Experience with marketing and communications
- Experience with audio/visual technology, graphic design, and social media management
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend all mandatory meetings, trainings and events
- Participate in the GSE leadership program through weekly coordinator training meetings
- Attend weekly 1 on 1's with a GSE staff supervisor
- Lead a team tasked with planning and implementing media and marketing strategies in line with GSE's mission
- Plan weekly 1 on 1's and team meetings with Media & Marketing interns
- Market for GSE and GSE-supported events by designing graphics, producing promotional videos/reels, printing posters, posting on social media, etc.
- Coordinate social media posts celebrating the global community
- Coordinate with the GSE Administrative Coordinator in the production of a weekly newsletter
- Coordinate photo and video documentation of GSE events
- Coordinate creative strategies for promotional materials including flyers and videos in partnership with International Admissions and University Marketing & Communications
- Mentor and equip interns in intercultural growth and leadership

Third Culture Coordinator
Qualifications:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend all mandatory meetings, trainings and events
- Participate in the GSE leadership program through weekly coordinator training meetings
- Attend weekly 1 on 1's with a GSE staff supervisor
- Lead a team tasked with planning and implementing programming for Third Culture Kids (TCKs) and Missionary Kids (MKs)
- Plan weekly 1 on 1's and team meetings with TCK interns
- Plan regular events for TCKs geared toward community-building, educating, or processing experiences, which may include but are not limited to: community-building events, educational workshops, and a weekend retreat
- Coordinate with the Media & Marketing team to promote events
- Coordinate with the GSE Administrative Coordinator for reservation of event spaces and purchase of supplies
- Mentor and equip interns in intercultural growth and leadership
- Assist in the implementation of Fall and Spring new global student orientation
