Purchased by 51ÂÜÀò in 2005, the Tradewinds Apartment Building is part of what is known as 'The Block,' a row of apartment buildings located a half-mile from the 51ÂÜÀò campus. Tradewinds is designated for undergrad students who have accumulated 60 units by the first day of fall classes. It is staffed by a graduate assistant.

Apartments contain a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and 1-2 bedrooms per apartment that house 2-4 residents. Residents have access to a communal laundry room as well as a central courtyard with a BBQ grill and outdoor sitting.
