Accelerated Master's Program: Master of Public Health (MPH)
You can earn a Master in Public Health with three additional semesters of study after you complete your B.S. in Public Health.
This is an alternative to the traditional track that requires tenacity and careful planning, and is the best fit for driven students with clear goals. In addition to taking full course loads each semester, you will take graduate-level courses starting in your fourth year when admitted to the Accelerated Masters Program.
Here's how it works:
- When as an undergraduate student, select Public Health (Masters Track) as your major or select this option preferably during your first or second year while in the B.S. in Public Health program.
- Fulfill the accelerated track advancement requirements by the end of your third year.
- Complete the for 51蹤獲s graduate programs.
- Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Write a statement of purpose and objectives.
- Interview with an MPH faculty member.

Standard Completion Track
Students who prefer not to enroll in the Accelerated Masters Program (Master of Public Health), but who desire to complete both the B.S. in Public Health and Master of Public Health, are welcome to complete coursework at a standard pace applying to the masters program following a four-year bachelors degree. Students should expect to complete both degrees in 56 years, depending on the students course load.
Please Note: Students who completed their undergraduate degree at 51蹤獲 and took cross-listed MPH courses could have some of these courses applied towards the 42-credit Master of Public Health. For more information or to determine your eligibility, consult your faculty advisor.
