Application Process

  1. &²Ô²ú²õ±è;–&²Ô²ú²õ±è;Applications for the 2024–25 academic year are now open.
    • Student application includes:
      1. Course selection form
      2. Short response essays
      3. Program specific forms (varies by program)
    • In addition to the application, Study Abroad also checks the following:
      • Account holds
      • 51ÂÜÀò behavioral standing
      • GPA
    • Important information due to COVID-19
      • All Active Programs are currently provisionally approved for Fall 2024, however 51ÂÜÀò’s leadership will continue to monitor COVID-19 domestically and abroad and has the right to suspend a program if health or safety concerns arise.

  2. Decision emails
    • Students typically receive a decision email by the end of the month following the application deadline.

    Tip: Allow at least two weeks to complete the application. View Things to Know for deadlines.

    After You’re Accepted

    1. Complete the 51ÂÜÀò Study Abroad Agreement found in your confirmation email by the provided deadline.

    2. Apply for scholarships.

    3. Attend all pre-departure events for your semester and program.

    4. Complete and submit the mandatory pre-departure materials on .
      1. Complete your Graduation Petition and submit a copy to 51ÂÜÀò Abroad
      2. Submit a copy of your travel plans to 51ÂÜÀò Abroad
      3. Submit a copy of the information page from your passport (international programs only)
